Insead has teamed up with the Macquarie Group, the international investment bank and financial services provider, to launch a Master of Finance programme for Macquarie’s investment banking managers. The degree will be available from early 2007 to Macquarie employees around the world.
Macquarie expects hundreds of its people to undertake the programme in coming years. The course will target Macquarie’s top young investment bankers, who will be selected on the basis of their abilities, performance and potential.
The curriculum has been developed by Insead with input from Macquarie’s senior management. Participants will spend a total of 14 weeks on campus over a four-year period with multiple groups attending classes on Insead’s European (Fontainebleau) and Asian (Singapore) campuses as well as locations in Australia and the US. In addition, the programme includes individual online learning and virtual teamwork activities.
