Drenge (Danish for “boys”) made a surprise appearance in Westminster politics when the Labour MP Tom Watson, in a resignation letter, advised his lead Ed Miliband to listen to the Yorkshire punk duo.

Their debut album has a charged swagger, fuzzy riffs rumbling alongside howled vocals: the listener is gripped by an un-Miliband-like sense of impulsiveness.
