The FT has collated details of 332 suspects charged with riot-related offences in London over the last month.

Home addresses have been derived from unpublished court records. These have been used to explore the demographic profile of suspects, based on the Index of Multiple Deprivation scores for the neighbourhood of around 1,500 people in which they live.

The location of alleged offences has been used to calculate the distance between suspect home addresses and the location of their alleged offence.

Although many of the riot-related offences were dispersed widely around London a number can be attributed to defined areas. This interactive feature maps seven of the riot areas, showing the area in which the suspects live and the distance from their home.
