HEC school of management in Paris is to establish a chair in real estate to promote business education in the fields of real estate economics, finance and management.
The chair has been formed in partnership with Morgan Stanley Real Estate, Unibail-Rodamco, the commercial property investor and the HEC Foundation, a body of more than 45 international companies that supports the school’s ambitions.
Finance and economics professor at HEC Alessandro Citanna will hold the chair. Courses will include asset management and development and real estate finance and economics for masters, specialised masters and MBA participants at HEC.
“This chair, the first of its kind, will contribute to developing new teaching in the financial mechanisms of the real estate industry,” says Daniel Bernard, chairman of the HEC Foundation.
Students will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to cutting edge research.
