Theresa May has not risen to the bait.

The Scottish National party’s Angus Robertson asked the prime minister in parliament about headlines in the UK’s tabloid press today calling for the June general election to “crush the saboteurs”.

In response, Mrs May declined to criticise this description, noting that “a free press is important”.

She added:

What the British people voted for last year was to leave the EU. We have set that in motion, there is no turning back. The Scottish National party and others want to frustrate that process.
