Car bomb explosion in Ankara leaves five dead

A large explosion has taken place in Ankara, Turkey’s capital, leaving five dead.

Ankara Governor Mehmet Kiliclar said five people are dead, ten injured after a car bomb exploded near the Navy Headquarters, targeting passing military buses during the early evening.

Senior military officials have residences near the location of the bomb, and television images showed flames near a small apartment building described as military housing, reports Mehul Srivastava.
