Jonathan Wilson’s Fanfare reactivates the hippy sounds of LA’s Laurel Canyon, loping with a laid-back groove through almost 80 minutes of classic west coast rock.

Sprawling guitar solos, jam-band license, hypnotic percussion, sweet harmonies, cosmic vocals about women with “rainbow eyes” – it’s all here, brilliantly assembled, even down to guest spots from David Crosby, Graham Nash and Jackson Browne.
