The powerful, disciplined and rhythmic Anglo-Nordic piano trio, lead by Danish bassist Jasper Høiby, pack even more punch live than they do in the studio. This album, recorded over three shows at last year’s London Jazz Festival, captures their energy in full, and shows why they are so popular on the international circuit.

As the album zigzags through slow burns, ballads and up-tempo grooves, sometimes all three on the same track, Høiby’s percussive counterpoint is the foundation on which pianist Ivo Neame and drummer Anton Eger take flight.
