A wide variety of unmanned aerial vehicles are being used for military and civilian purposes around the world. Drones range in size from vast solar-powered fixed-wing aircraft to minute helicopter-like devices fashioned on hummingbirds. US Congress has decided that from 2015 they should be given access to domestic airspace.
