Venues citywide

This month, interiors specialists from all over the world will display their latest work in events across the whole of Milan. The extensive furniture fair will be held at the city’s exhibition grounds, also incorporating the Eurocucina, FTK (Technology for the Kitchen) and International Bathroom Furniture exhibitions. Zona Tortona will play host to a range of cutting edge and avant-garde creatives.

Displays will be staged in showrooms and public buildings throughout Milan. Four exhibitions will focus on the manufacture of furnishings, accessories, kitchens and bathrooms. Tutti a tavola! (Everyone to the table!), at the Villa Reale, will examine the theme of the kitchen through the media of art, cinema, design, theatre – and the senses.

The 49th Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition will feature the work of decor experts, displaying every kind of furnishing in styles ranging from classical to modern. The biennial Eurocucina exhibition will showcase kitchen furniture in a range of materials and styles. With about 145 exhibitors, its main focus will be bespoke designs. FTK is devoted to the technology of built-in electric domestic appliances and cooker hoods, while the Salone Satellite, now in its 13th year, will bring the innovative work of talented young designers into the spotlight.

At the Zona Tortona, That’sDesign! promises visitors the chance to see the work of emerging creatives aiming to develop their international reputations: AquiliAlberg, Nika Zupanc, Osko and Deichmann, Susanne Philippson and Vicente García Jiménez.
