Experimental feature

Named after Tradescentia zebrina – the Latin name for wandering jew – Zebrina play a mixture of jazz-rock styled after the 1970s-era of Miles Davis and Klezmer.

Jonathan Feldman’s electric piano burbles and flows, setting up grooves over which Ben Goldberg’s clarinet mediates and chants, a combination transcendently powerful on “Breath of Life”, or when the rhythm of “Freedom Groove” is carried by vulgar keyboard blurts.
