★★★★☆

The three years since Show Of Hands’s last set of new songs have given them plenty to get angry about. The title track’s analysis of the banking crisis will not keep Gillian Tett awake at nights. But there are pops at creationists wreckers drawn to the coast by the wreck of the Napoli. A fiddle-driven “Señor (Tales Of Yankee Power)” could have come from Desire, not Street-Legal. And Steve Knightley and Jackie Oatesrollick through “Keys Of Canterbury”.
