Suit by Ozwald Boateng

This is a dark navy blue-black suit in a vertical stripe with a bright red lining and pink detail on the pockets. I was in London a few years ago on a quick trip and forgot to take a proper suit. A friend took me into his shop and I found one of his off-the-rack suits that Ozwald tweaked for me to fit like a glove. I don’t always have to wear a suit but when I do it has to be unique, slightly aggressive and have a personality.

Shirt by Duncan Quinn

This is a pink chequerboard Duncan Quinn with a French cuff. I love his shirts because they fit as if they were custom-made to my body. I’m always moving around and I’m skinny. If I was wearing a normal shirt, it would be baggy, so would look wrinkled and get worse over the course of the day. It has to be sharp and fitted.

Tie by Duncan Quinn

This geometric combination is light purple with dark purple and turquoise. I wear it to the meetings I’m having now with online ad agencies. Duncan is excellent at using tone-on-tone patterns and textures.

Watch by Panerai

This is the big, stainless-steel Panerai 1950 with a brown leather band and 46mm casing. I got it six years ago, having worn a normal-size casing before that. Now, once you get used to the scale and weight, anything else feels wrong. In the restaurants, I’m always checking the time, so I want to love it – plus the numbers are larger!

Shoes by John Varvatos

These are above-ankle, light brown boots. I bought them a couple of years ago and was paranoid that they would get discontinued so I bought two pairs. I travel a lot and shoes without laces make going through security easy.
