Many rockers never live to see 30 but Spinal Tap have chalked up three decades and have aged better than most. A high-def makeover – the DVD equivalent of Botox – gives them new lustre and there is added bulk in the shape of exhaustive extra features on this Blu-ray edition.

Christopher Guest’s mockrockumentary has never been matched – except perhaps by Metallica: Some Kind of Monster. Even Tap never thought of bringing a therapist into the studio.
