Insead is increasing its influence in the Middle East by launching a series of executive open enrolment centres in its new facilities in Abu Dhabi.

The teaching and research centre was opened last September and has already been used for corporate clients. In addition, the facility has been used by students on the executive MBA programme run jointly by Insead and Tsinghua University, in Beijing, as part of their overseas programme.

Frank Brown, dean of Insead, says the launch of the open enrolment programmes “provides executives from the region with a unique opportunity to learn, share best practices and hone their international leadership skills.”

Initially, four Insead programmes will be run in Abu Dhabi: Leading for Results, Negotiation Dynamics, Achieving Outstanding Performance and Mastering Alternative Investments. Each programme is three to four days in length.

European rival London Business School is also running programmes in the region, in Dubai.
