Boteco Brasil Soho

This is the only pop-up with the official backing of the Brazilian embassy, incorporating food, art, fashion – and football – over two floors of The Gallery Soho. Experienced events curators are involved, including Cid Blanco, who created the Casa Brasil in London for the national team at the 2012 Olympics. Tickets for match screenings include Brazilian feasts conceived by “culinary designer” Simone Mattar.

Bubbledogs

This Fitzrovia specialist of hot dogs and grower champagnes, served together, has concocted 10 new “World Cup” hot-dog fillings for its steamed buns and frankfurters, each representing a different team. France, for example, has the “Jean-Pierre” – new potato slices, beer-pickled onions, melted raclette cheese and mini-cornichons; Spain the “Calçotada” with spicy romesco sauce, charred grilled onions and spiced almonds.

Climpson’s Arch

For football on the side, and Negronis centre-forward, head to this Hackney railway arch. Better-known for its coffee roastery, the venue also has a beer garden and a hulking La Marzocco Linea Barbecue. It will be grilling its way through the tournament, with screenings of selected matches and DJs.
