Hank Paulson gives career advice to Chicago Booth MBAs

Former Goldman Sachs chief executive Henry Paulson is to give coaching sessions to Chicago Booth MBA students as part of the business school’s Executive-in-Residence programme. Each one-hour coaching session will have a maximum of eight participants.

The free sessions, which will take place on February 1, were snapped up by students within 40 minutes. Before the sessions he will host a breakfast reception for 134 Booth students, with live video of the event shown in an overflow room.

Mr Paulson joined Goldman Sachs in 1974 and became chief executive in 1999. In 2006 he became US Treasury Secretary under President George W Bush. Today he is chairman of The Paulson Institute at the University of Chicago, founded in 2011 to address issues such as the relationship between the US and China.
