AOL relocates to New York

Time Warner underlined the shift of focus at its AOL internet business towards advertising on Monday when it unveiled plans to relocate the division’s headquarters to New York.

The move from Dulles, Virginia, comes as AOL is switching away from its traditional role as a provider of internet connections to one focused on expanding its foothold in the online advertising market.
