New Argentine President Cristina Fernández blasted as "garbage" allegations aired in a US court that four men accused of being Venezuelan agents had tried to smuggle $800,000 into the country to finance her election campaign.
The twist in the scandal over a suitcase of cash which Guido Antonini Wilson, a US citizen, was caught with in August after flying from Venezuela on an Arg-entine government-chartered private jet, has ended Ms Fernández's honeymoon days after she took office.
