Investors like logic of Google interest in Yell

Global internet search engine Google was yesterday added to the list of companies said to be stalking one of London's blue chips.

The FTSE 100 company in question was Yell Group. Its shares gained 4.6 per cent to 451¾p amid talk that Google could look to buy the owner of Yellow Pages.
