A property such as Ikies with 10 well appointed studios and suites overlooking precipitous black cliffs and deep blue water filling the crater of a dormant volcano should have no problem attracting visitors.

But in spite of its location at Oia on Santorini, Greece’s most sought after island resort, Ikies failed to pay its way.
