Theme park tags on to ID chip expansion

Alton Towers, one of the country's largest theme parks, is to start tagging visitors with tiny radio frequency identification computer chips that will allow a network of cameras to track their movements throughout the park.

Visitors will be given an RFID-enabled wristband on entry to the Staffordshire amusement park. It will allow them to be identified and videoed by cameras as they go on rides and attractions.
