Fitch revises Berkshire Hathaway’s rating

The pressure on Berkshire Hathaway's AAA credit rating increased on Tuesday when Fitch Ratings revised its outlook to “negative” from “stable”, citing the investment company's dependence on Warren Buffett, its 74-year-old chairman and chief executive.

Fitch said the move was driven by “the very high level of ‘key person risk' at Berkshire, which is placing increasing pressure on its ratings”.
