Indirect investment: Smaller funds can benefit

An unusually high degree of consensus surrounds the increasing attractions of property as an investment class. Chris O’Brien, vice-president at Standard & Poor’s Index Services, speaks of a cohesion of opinion “amounting to a convergence on what the market means”.

Against this background, indirect listed property has gained a new focus, he argues, as property is at last given the special attention it deserves.
