Air New Zealand said on Thursday that it has been contacted by the European Union following an investigation into suspected price-rigging for freight services.

European regulators earlier this week included Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Air Canada in the investigation, widening a probe that has targeted other airlines.
