Asian shares follow Wall Street lower

Asia-Pacific stocks resumed their declines on Wednesday, led by Japanese shares, as fears of a looming global recession troubled investors amid slowing earnings.

The FTSE All-World Asia Pacific Index was trading down 5.5 per cent at 164.41.
