Caution urged over future of Sunday papers

Newspaper owners should keep Sunday special or run “huge risks” of losing a unique part of their business, one of the UK’s best-known editors told the Financial Times.

Andrew Neil, former editor of the Sunday Times, spoke amid increasing speculation that two newspaper groups were seeking closer integration of print and internet journalism that would see their Sunday titles become part of a seven-day operation.
