Eritrea has ordered European, US, Canadian andRussian members of theUN peacekeeping mission to leave the country within 10 days, a move that will deal a further blow to an increasingly crisis-ridden peace process.
The decision follows weeks of concern that the border conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia could be reignited in the wake of rising tensions and troop build-ups on both sides of their disputed boundary. It also highlighted the frustration and anger Eritrea feels towards the international community.
