'Bootiful' end

Turkey farmer Bernard Matthews has decided that 80 is a good age to retire, stepping down from the eponymous empire he founded in 1950.

The Norfolk-born businessman, famous for his series of "bootiful" television ads, will retire on his birthday in January. "His health and energy levels are not what they were," said his UK boss Jeff Halliwell .
