Dovish Fed keeps pressure on dollar

The dollar pulled back from a one-month high on a trade-weighted basis on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve reiterated its commitment to keep US interest rates low for the foreseeable future.

The central bank said it expected rates to be on hold at ultra low levels for an “extended period”.
