An end of an era as Robert Swannell prepares his final goodbye to banking after 32 years, having settled a departure date of next March from Citigroup.

Mr Swannell was a core part of the Schroders investment banking arm that merged with Citi in 2000, with Sir Win Bischoff having started his career at Schroders in 1977.
