While in recent years many employers have been agonising over how to meet the changing expectations of a generation of young employees – Gen Y, or the Millennials, as they are often known – that famously expect a high salary and plenty of work-life balance, some argue that the differences have been exaggerated.
“I don’t see many significant changes,” says Julia Harvie-Liddel, recruitment director for Accenture in the UK and Ireland.
