US medical equipment supplier PSS World Medical has an ambitious goal as a company: to grow at twice the rate of the market.

The company already has an annual turnover of $2bn, 250 sites, 40 distribution centres and more than 1,000 sales representatives. PSS supplies two main sets of customers, office-based physicians and the elder care market. It is currently the largest supplier of medical materials to physicians in the UK.
