Police expect clashes at airport rally

Police are preparing for a weekend of clashes with activists protesting against plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport amid fears their "climate camp" has been infiltrated by people set on provoking trouble.

Protesters have drawn up a shortlist of potential targets for "direct action", including the offices of BAA, the airports operator, and the London offices of the Royal Bank of Scotland, which they accuse of financing oil and gas companies.
