Tech offerings slow sharply

This year's procession of young technology companies to Wall Street has slowed to a crawl amid intense regulatory scrutiny and growing investor concerns about the quality of some of the offerings, according to bankers and other observers.

With the market entering the summer doldrums and the outlook more uncertain for tech stocks, this may prompt some to review their plans and could add to the number that choose to sell themselves to bigger companies, they add.
