Bolder moves are needed to find a solution to this crisis

Are we any closer? Last autumn we wrote that systemic problems in the financial system and world economy required comprehensive solutions. Since then policymakers have acted, easing monetary policy, injecting public funds into banks and boosting fiscal stimulus.

Is it enough? Are we closer to a bottoming of financial markets and economic activity?
