At first glance, the project seems plainly irresponsible. But a closer look suggests there could be some well thought-out cheek to a German start-up that makes cut-price computers that run Apple’s famously robust operating system.
Irresponsible, because Apple, by way of a licence agreement, commits users to run its software only on Apple hardware; irresponsible because Apple is already suing a US company that grafts Apple OS X onto PC parts for allegedly violating this rule.
