Nicholas Levene, the bankrupt City financier who owes creditors at least £200m, is in debt to IG Index, the spread betting company, to the tune of almost £1m, according to High Court documents.
Mr Levene is facing a barrage of lawsuits in the London courts and was declared bankrupt in the High Court on October 7 after a petition submitted in late July by Michael Dorsman, who is based in Israel. About 40 creditors have come forward so far.
