Spanish resort mourns loss of generous royal visitor

Spain paused to remember for King Fahd as his funeral took place yesterday. The country has enjoyed a cordial relationship with Saudi Arabia over the years, and the king was a friend of Juan Carlos I, the Spanish monarch.

José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, the prime minister, declared Monday as a day of national mourning to mark the king's death.
