Euronext buy-out funds feel drain of liquidity

Private equity funds that listed on Euronext Amsterdam during last year’s buy-out boom are now battling to address the lack of liquidity that has plagued their shares and put off new investors.

Conversus Capital, the US private equity fund of funds, which raised $1.8bn from a flotation last year as it spun out of Bank of America, said on Tuesday it had appointed ABN Amro to act as its liquidity provider.
