Cleaning up the mess left by the Reserve Primary Fund when it “broke the buck” a little over a year ago has been a mammoth task for regulators, the courts and the fund’s managers.

As lawsuits alleging fraud have stacked up against the fund, its adviser and the company’s founder, acrimony over how best to proceed with unwinding the fund and its assets has intensified.
