London Olympic chiefs refuse pay cut

Olympic delivery chiefs were accused on Wednesday of pocketing bonuses that rival those of City bankers, as they were forced to defend the size of their salaries during a recession.

Members of the London assembly urged the leaders of the Olympic Delivery Authority to consider deferring bonuses or reducing salaries after eight senior ODA executives shared remuneration of more than £2.6m last year.
