McLaren let off in F1 dispute with Ferrari

Formula One leaders McLaren Mercedes on Thursday escaped any immediate penalties for being in possession of a large file of confidential Ferrari information.

At a hearing in Paris, the motor sport’s world governing body, the FIA World Motorsport Council, ruled that there was insufficient evidence to show whether any of the material had been misused.
