First commitment of a hung parliament

Sir, A weak government is what we should be hoping for, as Lord Skidelsky argues (April 25), and the only realistic prospect of achieving this is indeed through a hung (or almost hung) parliament. But the uncertainties of tactical voting mean that the prospects of achieving such a result are far from good.
