Nicely does it for me

In recent days, we have seen a contrite Gordon Brown, a bitter Caroline Flint, a persuasive Lord Mandelson and a bullish Sir Alan Sugar. This makes me wonder if there is anybody in politics who is, to put it in simple terms, nice.

I approve of the word nice. It is prominent in the very simple guidance I give to early-stage entrepreneurs: be local; be reliable; be nice.
