KPMG heads for Courts decision

KPMG expects to spend the rest of this week examining offers for Courts, the furniture retailer put into administration by its banks at the end of last month with debts of £280m.

Just ahead of yesterday's deadline for indicative bids, Mick McLoughlin, head of corporate recovery at KPMG, said he was confident of securing offers for all, or parts, of the UK business.
