Serb protesters on Tuesday burned down two border posts and breached the internationally controlled boundary between Serbia and its breakaway territory, Kosovo, which declared independence on Sunday.

A crowd of 1,000 or more demonstrators wanted to prevent Kosovo customs ­officials from raising the new flag of the mainly ­ethnic Albanian state, news agencies reported.
