Cameron restores soured relations with US

David Cameron held talks with George W. Bush in the White House on Thursday in a foreign policy coup that marks the first time a ­Conservative leader has met the US president for six years.

Mr Bush joined a meeting between Mr Cameron and Stephen Hadley, the White House national security adviser, and stayed for about 30 minutes, Tory officials said. The subjects discussed included Iran, the Middle East, free trade, global warming – and the two ­leaders’ shared love of cycling.
