Apollo finds stock options errors

BOSTON, Nov 3 - For-profit education company Apollo Group Inc. on Friday said its chief financial officer has resigned after an internal investigation turned up errors in how it accounted for stock options, and also said it would have to restate past results.

The company said Treasurer and CFO Kenda Gonzales resigned on Wednesday, and Chief Accounting Officer Dan Bachus is on administrative leave.
