Tourism will be the loser from London 2012

The London Olympics of 2012 will not boost tourism, with the industry set to suffer a decline in the aftermath of the event, according to a new report.

The research by the European Tour Operators Association examined the impact of staging the Olympics on other cities. It said there was "no strong link between hosting sporting events and increased tourism".
